How to write a good resume ?

When there are so many applicants for a job then usually companies do short listing on the basis of your resumes. So if your resume is attractive and well written then your chances of getting selected are automatically increased. There should be no grammatical and syntax errors because your resume not only tells about your skills and qualifications but a bit about your writing skill. So always use correct punctuation and formatting style to make it more attractive.

Keep your portfolio in proper sequence but it is not limited to any certain format e.g. some people write their qualifications just in the beginning of their resume but it is always good to mention your experience in the beginning  if you are going for a higher level job.

You should be aware with all facts and events which you mention in your resume e.g. if you have participated in any competition then do have the full knowledge about the competition.

Be honest while preparing your resume; do not write fake or unnecessary things because if interviewer comes to know then it will make an overall negative impression. It should be precise but able to give the complete picture of yours. Mention those good points about yourself in resume which you want to be asked by the interviewer.
