A Senior LDAP/TIM/TAM Administrator is needed to work for our Insurance Client in New York City, NY

Position Objective: This position requires technical expertise to ensure middleware security environment provides our business customers with a robust infrastructure on which to run their applications. The infrastructure must provide access that is both available and responsive to business requirements. This position is recognized as a technical leader, possessing a broad understanding of the applications and technical architectures, including the inter-operability of technologies in the current and planned infrastructure. This position keeps apprised of the changing technical environment, and is integrally involved in defining future technical strategies to include engineering design that imposes best practices.

? Provides technical leadership for the most critical and complex projects and/or acts as a key technical advisor to project teams providing novel approaches and technical insights.
? May often be leveraged across the organization, staffed to and/or consulting to projects that require their special expertise
? Participates in the engineering and design of relevant enterprise security projects and participates in the decision making as it relates to technology implementation, as it relates to LDAP and TIM/TAM environments.

• Engineering and design of the LDAP environment to ensure that they align with industry best practices.
• Work with TIM and TAM to support the user administration community.
• Able to backup, restore LDAP schema and data.
• Able to modify/extend LDAP schema.
• Able to create /modify/ extend LDAP Objects.
• Able to create/modify ACIs.
• Able to do performance tuning of LDAP and knowledge of LDAP tuning parameters.
• Able to perform monitoring, failovers and replication
• Able to extract/import data from/into LDAP.
• Able to create/modify scripts to push/pull data from LDAP/External Data Sources.
• Able to provide SSL certificate configuration to control connections to LDAP

• Understand existing DIT (directory Information Tree) design

• Provides the ability to audit the environment, recommend enhancements to optimize performance and implements the plan.
• Provides technical mentoring to more junior members raising the bar of technical expertise within the organization.
• Ensures the transfer of their knowledge through on-the-job training, technical presentations, and on-going technical coaching.
• A leadership role in planning for the future infrastructure, proposing new directions and technologies.
• Initiate strategic projects that will add significant value to the business.

• Maintains a network of peers in their field to improve ability to solve system problems, identify best practices, and assess new technologies and their value to Guardian.

• Be able to administer and proactively monitor a scalable and secure LDAP-based security infrastructure with a strong emphasis on command line tools including, ldapsearch, ldapmodify, db2ldif, and ldif2db.
• Enhance/Analyze LDAP/TAM/TIM logging to determine root causes of LDAP malfunctions.
• Development of utilities, and scripts in support of automating overall monitoring and reporting of TIM/TAM/LDAP systems, LDAP data validation, as well as TAM and TIM management.

• Provide Third Level Support of LDAP, user intranet access (TAM), and user provisioning process (TIM).

Education:
? BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science.

Experience:
? 3+ years experience with LDAP or X.500 directory server implementations with at least one of the following: iPlanet/Sun ONE 4.x-5.1, OpenLDAP, or IBM Directory Server.
? Must have a minimum. of 5 years UNIX, AIX, Solaris and/or Windows NT/2000 systems administration.
? Intermediate scripting skills w/ one or more: Java, Visual Basic , PHP, JavaScript, XML or PERL
? Familiarity with standard Unix command line tools.
? 1-2 years experience in administering and supporting IBM Tivoli Access Manager on UNIX a plus.
? 1-2 years experience in administering and supporting IBM Tivoli Identity Manager on UNIX a plus.
