Our direct client is looking for a development manager to manage, lead and mentor a team of 5 to 7 Java developers. This will be a very hands-on role which will include design, development and testing.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 10-12 years of Java / J2EE experience
- 3+ years of management or team lead experience leading teams of at least 5+ developers.
- 3+ years experience using Spring and Hibernate
- Experience with WebServices and XML
- Strong skills in multithreading.
- Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase or any relational database, preferably in a clustered environment.
- Strong communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with and manage team members.
- BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Desirable:
- Experience building high-volume, scalable applications
- C#/.NET experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or Math.
- Scrum Master certification.
