Title: Technical Project Manager, Web, E-Commerce

DESCRIPTION
-Join a Leading Online Media company, with state of the art technology and world class talent, where you will have excellent visibility and opportunity.
-You will plan and manage projects that require coordination of cross functional teams such as Technology, Creative and Marketing.
-You will be responsible for the implementation of new functionality and promotions across all products.
-Effectively develop detailed project schedules that outline project tasks and activity dependencies.
-Balance the management of multiple projects simultaneously, exhibiting good judgment in how projects are prioritized.
-Lead effective kick-off and status meetings with team.
-Develop resource allocation plans for each project and ensure accuracy of work.
-Assist in the development of work methodologies, controls and documentation standards to provide guidelines for project staff.
-Secure necessary reviews and approvals on all components.
-Manage open issues and work cross-functionally to determine corrective actions as necessary.
-Partner with the QA team ensuring quality of product releases.
-Proactively keep senior management and clients thoroughly advised of status on all components of current projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be OK with frequent travel to Washington DC
-You should have Web/E-Commerce Experience.
-3+ years of online project management experience.
-Experience working with cross-functional teams (i.e. QA, Web Developers, Marketing, Editorial, Designers etc.).
-Dynamic, results-oriented, organized and detail-driven.
-Strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
-Ability to work in fast paced, creative environment and manage multiple projects of varying degree of complexity simultaneously.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
-Complete understanding of web production process.
-Experience managing teams of individuals.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Visio.
-Familiarity with PMI/project management methodologies and process flows.
-Familiarity with HTML and web-based technology.
