Our client, a major brokerage firm located in downtown Manhattan is looking for a Senior C#.Net/Windows Workflow Foundation Consultant. The process requires conversion of their business process to workflows and ASP.Net for UI.

Qualifications: – Must have at least 7-10 years experience as a Developer/Analyst developing commercial and/or business applications in financial industry – Must have been involved in design and development of .Net projects with at least 4 years hands on experience on C#. – Must have been exposed to full SDLC process – Development experience using the following technology: .NET 3.0, ASP.NET, C# – At least 4 years of development experience with MS-SQL 2000/2005 (complex SQL query skills, not DBA management skills) – Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF) (real experience and must have developed using this) Windows Workflow Foundation and Workflow Integration(Standalone) – Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) – Thorough understanding of ASP.NET and ADO.NET object model. – Experience with design patterns and development tools (such as NUnit, Visual Studio 2005 Team System, etc). – Requires 3-6 years MSSQL 2005/2000 experience in creating stored procedures, very complex queries with a large number of tables & data, and database schema design. – Requires Javascript, DHTML, and CSS coding experience including its incorporating into ASP.NET pages. AJAX (either handwritten or with a library) a plus. – Exhibits good technical design skills including the use of design patterns – Must be able to work well within a team environment, have exceptional oral and written communication skills

MAJOR PLUSSES FOR THE JOB: – Web Services, Visual Studio Tools for Office, InfoPath, MSSQL 2005 and SQL Reporting Services, UML a plus. – Developing solutions to automate business workflow a big plus – Financial/Brokerage Experience a plus

Desirable:

• Concentrated industry expertise in financial services (Merchant Banking, Private Equity, Fund Management).
