FIRM STORAGE OPERATIONS MANAGER

As Storage Operations Manager in our US Central Operations group, you will primarily focus on supporting our regional multi-site SAN storage solutions, storage provisioning, service delivery, and cost management.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Refine the current storage provisioning process.
*Act as a liaison between server provisioning and storage operations. *Track and schedule storage requests, liaison to the Database and Application teams. *Trending and financial analysis on storage and storage related costs. *Manage a team that is located in regional datacenters. Assign work, schedules, support for business driven initiatives. *Analyze and recommend improvements in process and areas of costs savings.

*10 – 15+ years experience working with EMC storage arrays and EMC’s Control Center product. *Experience working with SANs and storage provisioning. *Experience handling business/financial analysis in a technology related field. *Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills. *Prior supervisory/management experience required. *Results-oriented with the ability to be independent, motivated, and proactive. *Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. *Strong analytical and product/project management skills required. *Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject mater experts. Ability to develop, maintain and cultivate relationships with internal clients. *Bachelor Degree in business or technology related discipline.
