This is an exciting opportunity to work as product and community manager for the number one online portal. As product manager, you will introduce and manage new products for the channel.

Complete Description: *Analysis of competitor positioning, strategy, and technology *Monitoring industry innovations *Analyze the market to identify opportunities for product enhancements *Management of day to day operations and technology *Work with third-party to ensure forums are being moderated accordingly *Monitor member feedback and respond or resolve issues accordingly *Capture forum traffic and monitor trends to make recommendations and act upon those suggestions to increase traffic *Development of technology strategy and product roadmaps *Writing business requirements for technology projects *Monitoring the implementation of projects and serve as the solution expert *Assist sales and client support teams with product-related issues *Analyzing and communicating product performance and sales success *Documenting product profitability and operational metrics *Assist marketing in the development of collateral and materials *Working with research department to identify potential research opportunities that relate to product *Working closely across the Platform-A organization to ensure success of the products

Skills: *Ability to work in cross-functional teams. *Background working in and managing online communities *Ability to balance technical and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technical and business experts. *Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech, rapidly growing and exciting environment. *Ability to handle challenges and provide quality solutions on time and within company budget. *Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and employees, along with working with external clients, or customers. *Ability to maintain own work flow and meet deadlines. *Possess strong leadership, communication (both verbal and written), and customer service skills, and exchange information with others clearly and concisely. *Ability to work with and manage third-party relationships *Ability to collaborate and be effective with support teams in different geographic locations *Ability to meet attendance standards and work long hours when necessary. *Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team. *Ability to work with minimal supervision

Education / Experience: *Bachelor*s degree in related field, OR *3+ years of relevant experience in Product Management or related position, *Or relevant combination of education and experience. *Experience working with technology teams to build solutions *Experience dealing with clients *Experience in the Internet Industry
