Project Overview:

Required Skills/ Experience:

• At least five years experience in web interface and layout design

• Experience with large-scale websites or e-commerce sites preferred*we*re looking for someone who has worked on complex websites, not necessarily in retail

• Strong design background

• Advanced knowledge of Photoshop

• Portfolio that displays an understanding of user-centered design (online portfolio preferred)

• Intermediate understanding of HTML/CSS, with direct experience optimizing design concepts around these technologies

• Attention to detail, Excellent communication skills

• Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines

Desired, but not required Skills/ Experience:

• Flash experience a plus

• Experience working on a team with Information Architects and Front End Developers

Daily Responsibilities:

Work closely with information architects, copywriters, developers and others to fully understand the visual design requirements. Deliver elegant design solutions within project timelines. The Sr. Web Designer/ Graphic Designer will not be coding html/css but will work closely with the Front End Developers to make sure creative provided is executable and implemented correctly.
