We have an immediate opportunity in our Brookfield, Wisconsin office for an experienced Sales manager/executive/Business Development Manager for our solution division to manage a full range of sales activities targeting new or forming potential clients (inter)nationally. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing revenues through direct management of sales opportunity generation, full sales campaign execution and mid to large account management. A typical solution business volume would be from 150K to Millions.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a quality pipeline of services opportunities that represent .4 * 5 times annual quota.
  • Activity based selling to ensure that sales activities are aligned with business goals
    • Develop prospect list and execute a targeted sales and marketing plan to generate new business
    • Familiar with selling off-shore and strategic outsourcing services
    • Work to achieve aggressive sales quotas
    • Driving Consulting Services deals end to end. From lead generation & qualification, to solution development and presentation to contract negotiations, to deal closing, and to making sure the deal is properly transition to the Delivery Team for timely staffing and execution.
    • Build compelling business cases to support proposals and identify return on investment, successfully converting opportunities into Engagements.
    • Develop strong relationships with potential and existing clients at C level.
    • Conduct sales calls and customer visits
    • Develop strategic sales plan and delivering to it
  • Develop and maintain opportunities in a weekly pipeline forecasting.

Requirements:

  • Requires related BA/BS together with at least 5 years of proven success in direct enterprise software sales.
  • A proven track record of identifying, developing and closing mid to large account sales is required.
  • Experience in and working knowledge of business processes and best practices is required.
  • Experience at developing and articulating an ROI to C-Level Executives, and possess a demonstrated ability to make strong business cases for technology solutions.
  • Strategic selling experience in services, with a substantial proven track record in over-achieving quota, preferably on a performance based model.
  • Proven ability to build strategic channel sales relationships with applicable firms and system integrators.
  • Professional presence with excellent communication and presentation skills along with proven ability in deal structuring, proposal development, negotiations, and deal closing.
  • A self-starter, goal-oriented personality and will be able to work well in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • An assertive and driving work ethic combined with knowledge of the enterprise software development life cycle to face the challenges of software solution selling.
  • Sharp analytical and creative approach to identifying and evaluating potential new opportunities.
  • A strong consultative sales style.
  • Background in technology is desirable.
  • Project scoping and writing of statements of work relating to customer projects.
  • Business development into new divisions of existing customers.
  • Experience in creating Strategic plan and executing on cross and up selling.
  • Work closely with R&D for the potential sales needs.
  • Collaboration with customers in developing strategic plan for their IT needs.
  • Some Travel required.

Compensation:

  • Base from 40K to 75K + Variable (50% of base salary as variable on target achievement and increased variable proportion after target – no cap)
