Job Description:

  • The Georgia Department of Labor is replacing multiple legacy systems with an n-Tier integrated solution utilizing web Portals and JAVA development language. The Labor Exchange Project requires a senior level resource that has experience in creating the information architecture / user experience in an environment encompassing multiple systems and multiple platforms.

Candidate must have experience creating wireframes, application flows, storyboarding, user experience and user interface design on a multi-phase project.
Candidate must have experience facilitating human factor workshops with business owners and users.
Candidate must have experience using Visio and Adobe Acrobat Writer to create wireframes and application flows.
Must have solid interactive experience in information architecture, user experience, and content strategy. Must have proven experience completing IA work for web sites, portals, and custom applications.

  • This candidate is responsible for preparing the project*s User Interface Specification Document that defines the navigation flows, screen layout, screen design and screen specifications which solve the given business problems.

The candidate is responsible for making recommendations on the best approach based on business needs obtained by performing usability analysis and recommendations, including performing user focus groups, heuristic evaluations and usability studies.
The candidate will be responsible for preparing IA standards and recommending tool strategies to accomplish their work.
