• Candidate should have a working knowledge of IBM AIX 5.2/5.3 operating systems as well as Power4/Power5 frame architectures and logical partitioning (LPARs).

• An understanding of networking * from a system perspective, clustering/high availability (HACMP), user environment management (LDAP), system backups and disaster recovery (TSM), and virtualization concepts are desired.
• SAN experience including an understanding of hardware architectures and use of management software are also desirable.

• Candidate knowledge of IBM AIX 6.1 operating system, Power6 frame architectures, or workload partitioning (WPARs) would be a plus.

• Candidate should have a network+ certification.

• Must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for consideration since this position will require a DOD Security Clearance.
