Sales Technology Consultant
Successful candidates will be technically minded with a focus on acquiring and retaining new business. All activities are centered around meeting and exceeding the company’s yearly new business acquisition goals; via the implementation of a variety of sales and lead generation efforts including: identifying and developing new prospective client leads and lists; networking among prospective clients; collaboratively develop and oversee marketing strategies to meet lead generation requirements.
Position Responsibilities: *Acquire new business *Attain company’s new business acquisition goals *Develop prospect leads *Analyze client needs and interpret such needs into benefits and features of company’s hardware and software resources. Make recommendations of information technology hardware and software to meet client’s needs. *Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients. *Prepare required statistical reports pertaining to business leads, and businesses booked and expanded. *Analyze, develop and recommend budget needs to meet sales plan *Collaboratively develop and oversee implementation of marketing strategies to ensure lead generation *Analyze and collaborate on budget needs to meet lead generation needs
Essential skills and experience: *Bachelors of Science in business, marketing or sales or equivalent level of education, specialized training and work experience *Basic understanding of information technology hardware and software applications and limitations *Basic understanding of IP Telephony features and benefits *Basic understanding of software development, website development and database administration concepts *Excellent sales skills including development of sales leads, prospecting, cold calling, presentation of benefits and features to clients *Excellent interpersonal and communication skills *Strong customer orientation and focus to ensure business acquisition and expansion *Strong team player to ensure work effectiveness with a variety of internal and external clients *Strong commitment to company values of service, ethics and quality *Ability to listen and understand the customer issues and problems and recommend business solutions *Ability to follow through on representations and expectations provided to potential customer *Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities *Ability to interpret and translate problems and issues being described by the customer *Ability to define customer response required of problem and refer or seek clarification of customer concerns as may be required *Ability to analyze, prepare and submit reports as may be required reflecting progress on sales and lead generation efforts. *Excellent one-on-one and group presentation skills *Ability to maintain confidentiality pertaining to company business acquisition goals, new business acquisition strategies
