Online Course Developer/Instructional Designer

Consolidated Safety Services is looking for multiple Online Course Developers/Instructional Designers to work on a government client site in Beaver, West Virginia (near Charleston WV). This is an exciting opportunity to work across a broad set of Distance Learning initiatives and functions including the design, development, maintenance and analysis of online courseware. Responsibilities include:
Analyzing learning and technology needs and partnering with subject matter experts to develop technical designs.
Planning, creating, developing and supporting Distance Learning initiatives and providing technical expertise for the programming of online content
Developing Web-sites, Web-based training, and self-paced training .
Developing templates, graphics, and audio/visual materials for use in on-line training.
Participating in the design, development, and maintenance of learning technology materials and applications including storyboards and project plans .
Applying instructional design theory and the appropriate utilization of instructional technology, technology tools, and media to enhance learning and interaction.
Working collaboratively with other Distance Learning staff to develop distance learning course materials, learning objects, and other related deliverables
REQUIREMENTS:
Must reside or be willing to relocate to the Charleston/Beaver, WV area in order to work on-site at the Government Facility on a daily basis
Mid to Senior level experience developing and supporting online learning and other learning technologies, including storyboarding, the use of graphics, digital photography, and audio visual materials to develop engaging courses
Proficient in multi-media / Web course development using Lectora and the CourseMill LMS (Required)
Proficient with Web markup languages including HTML, XML, and Cascading Style Sheets
Proficient with development packages such as Adobe Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and similar packages
