Required Skills:
This is a right to hire position. All candidates must be able to work for any employer in the US WITHOUT sponsorship. This is a 3 month contract after which point this individual will convert to a full time employee.
The position within the build and deployment team requires technical knowledge in source control, build/deploy tools, scripting, software migration and configuration management processes. The candidate will help define and improve methods, procedures, and tools to control software code through the Software Development Life Cycle. She/He will also be part of a team that ensures the stability of development and testing work environments.
A candidate for consideration will posses the following attributes:
- Strong skills in the functionality and application of WebSphere/WebLogic and WSAD.
- Working knowledge of Java and J2EE.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (ChangemanDS, Dimensions,CVS, PVCS or Visual SourceSafe)
- Familiarity with MQ-Series, relational DBs, , and XML.
- Experience with AIX, HPUX
- Ability to write Ant, PERL and Unix scripts
- Experience in J2EE configuration management
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies
- Working knowledge of subsetting and masking of data
Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Initiative and aptitude to actively coordinate the movement of branches of code through multiple environments while avoiding collisions of code bases or risking the stability of the working environments
