Project Manager VP Level (with C++ or Java background)

Immediate hire for a Large Financial Firm. VP level.
The position is for an individual to drive the migration from a legacy Credit Risk system to a new stream lined architecture. The individual will need to face off with existing data providers and data consumers and make the migration a reality. This will require in-depth business knowledge in both Credit Risk as well all the product areas covered by the firm, to the extent needed for credit risk purposes. The individual will likely drive the creation of clear and concise specification and see through the implementation of feeds meeting these requirements.
Technical skills required ranging from 5-10 of data warehousing (SQL, OLAP, ETL.) Proficiency in one of the main programming languages (C++ Java.) Experience with major migration projects where outside teams are involved. Strong negotiation and leadership skill to see migration to completion. Business knowledge in fixed income, commodities, equities OTC products as well as credit risk. Experince in writing specification and validating data to see if specs are fullfilled.
