Position Purpose:
To design in both detail and at a systems level, construct, test, implement and support application programs required to enhance the current integrated Financial modules within the ERP system (JDEdwards). In addition, perform detail analysis of high level project specifications accomplished by working with both Business Analysts and clients. Also support the Help Desk with analysis and resolution of internal and external issues.

Principal Accountabilities:
1. Code and testing of application programs in support of new applications, interfaces between applications, and conversion applications for new software implementations and upgrades in relation to the Financial modules of JDEdwards.
2. Ensure quality of applications by vigorously testing all possible business scenarios and strictly adhering to the programming and architecture standards.
3. In conjunction with Senior Systems Analysts, perform detailed design tasks for enhancements and interfaces to leverage resources as much as possible.
4. Develop estimates for all assigned project tasks.
5. Tracking and reporting of the status of all assigned application development tasks.
6. Participate in on-going application support, with responsibility for Enterprise business applications. Analyze and resolve issues as needed.
7. Provide technical guidance to internal and external programming and analyst resources to ensure all new application development is technically sound and best utilizes the client hardware and architecture.
8. Provide support and guidance to the Technical Services resources relating to the development and support needs of the application development group.
9. Develop high level project specifications into detailed programming specifications.

Knowledge & Background Requirements:

Minimum three years of experience in technical development for implementing and enhancing J.D. Edwards Financial modules (AR/AP/GL) for World and OneWorld Xe is required. Ability to code and debug JDE Business Functions and trace C objects libraries is required.

Experience in developing and testing system solutions in a Manufacturing and Distribution environment, preferably in the consumer products industry.

Strong technical skills, primarily in a Microsoft SQL database development environment. Experience in converting data from multiple formats to a Microsoft SQL database is strongly desired.

Strong analytical skills and business accounting principles as it relates to the JDE Financial modules and data files. Experience in troubleshooting the Sales Update batch run and troubleshooting AAI*s is desired.

Experience using structured methodologies and the MSOffice suite of products.

Bachelor Degree in related field is preferred. Associates Degree with minimum of 3 years additional J.D. Edwards development experience is acceptable.
