Additional Details (previous feedback from manager):
I’m reviewing portfolios as the big qualifier to even consider reading the candidate’s resume. What I’m seeing are people that know how to use the tools really well but the execution is sub-par. Strong visual communication skills are missing and someone that has a portfolio that says ‘wow’. The links in (Candidate A) and (Candidate B) portfolios have that. Granted (Candidate A) has done work with high profile companies, but even if it’s not the case their work should really make small/mid-size companies look like they could be a Fortune 500/1000 company. So overall consistency of quality is key.
