Job Title: Project Manager
Experience: 10+ years
Job Description: We have an opening for a Project Manager to work with one of our large customers. The work involves estimation, tracking and managing Integration Applications based on J2EE / Websphere platform. This position will be based at our customer’s site * Edison.
Job Responsibilities:
- Project Management based on J2EE / Websphere platform.
- Deliver projects on time, on budget, with delighted customers
- Create and track project plans
- Develop project estimates
- Manage scope throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage teams of up to 20 people including designers, architects, developers, QA
- Provide motivation and direction to the team
- Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria to the team
- Manage multiple elements (software, kits, training materials, documentation, etc) that come together to launch a new product
- Manage customer, third-party partner and vendor relationships as necessary
- Track and communicate project status, issues, risks and decisions to senior management
- Set project quality and performance standards
- Share knowledge and learning and contribute to the development of project management practice
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with formal education in Computer Science
- Minimum 10 years in managing and delivering projects.
- Experience in various SDLC methodologies like XP or Agile and Waterfall model.
- Knowledge of web services, Portlets, Wireless testing is desirable.
- Experience in Energy/Power/Telecommunication Domain
- Exposure to Web Services, Portal development and Rich Interface Applications
- Prior experience with Java, J2EE, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase
