Senior Project Manager

Key Position Requirements:
Proven experience in managing multiple workstreams /projects for a large-scale program integrating Insurance/Financial Services, Financial Systems (General Ledger) and Financial Information Management systems. Polished business communication skills able to “vertically integrate” senior management with the project team and be comfortable working on a day-to-day with key senior sponsors from Client’s Controllers and IT organizations. Understanding of GL interfaces and timing involving automated/manual journal entries focused on volume indicators, earnings, and balance sheets.
Key Functions:
- Leads the delivery of a program (multiple projects), or a very large project and is accountable to the Program or Project Sponsor for its outcome (Scope, Time, Cost & Quality).
- Integrates the deliverables from various projects into a comprehensive program deliverable
- Must have managed mutliple projects and project managers.
- Sets the direction for the other project work streams with regard to process, deliverables and timelines
- The Program may consist of multiple related projects, or the roster of projects for an entire business area.
- Responsible for communication with senior project sponsors and executives
Qualifications:
- 10-20 years general business experience
- 6-12 Years Project Management experience, augmented by line management experience
- College degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience required. Advanced degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- PMP Professional with SDLC and CMMI Experience
- Subject matter expertise in at least one business and/or technical area.
