Overview
Our Direct client in northern NJ has an excellent full time opportunity as a Web Delivery Manager. This position is responsible for managing multiple aspects of the web delivery teams operations. They include providing detailed status to Delivery leadership, managing the scope, budget and delivery of releases, participate in delivery team resource planning and forecasting, manage offshore development teams, and interface with and manage cross functional teams that include teams within IT and in the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and at least 5-6 years experience in systems analysis and application development (or an equivalent combination of education and work experience).
• At least 3 years of significant experience leading the development and support of n-tier, mission-critical, transactional applications and projects.
• Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision requiring only moderate day-to-day direction
• Successful background managing and completing end to end large projects
• Demonstrated a solid understanding of Software Engineering and Project management best practices and in SDLC processes, roles, responsibilities and deliverables
• Demonstrated a solid understanding of distributed systems, middleware technologies and n-tier architecture.
• Demonstrated a strong understanding of project estimating, financials and resourcing, including the use of offshore resources.
• Demonstrate an understanding of software development team resourcing, forecasting and budgeting

• Demonstrate an understanding of software release management
